Accessibility Statement
Version 2026-08 · Last updated August 2026
Our commitment
We want HomeArc to be usable by every parent, including those who rely on a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our working target.
What we do today
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labeled form fields throughout the app.
- Visible focus states and full keyboard operation of forms, menus and dialogs.
- Errors announced in text next to the field they belong to, not by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small screens.
- Color choices checked for contrast in both light and dark themes.
- Printable and PDF lesson output with a clear reading order.
Known limitations
This is an early-access product and some areas are still improving — in particular dense planning tables, generated illustrations that carry no alternative text beyond a generic description, and long generation progress views that update frequently. We are working on these.
Feedback
If something blocks you, tell us what you were trying to do, the page, and the assistive technology you use, at michael.fink@ever-growing.de. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and will offer a workaround while we fix them.
